SUPERVISOR FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
We are searching for an experienced SUPERVISOR FACILITIES MANAGEMENT at our DHB ENGINEERING facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary:
The Supervisor of Facilities Management oversees the repair and maintenance operations across all Doctors Hospital locations. This role ensures that facility-related issues are addressed promptly and efficiently, maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
The position requires strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance best practices, and exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the identification, documentation, and timely, cost-effective completion of all repair and maintenance tasks across all DHE locations.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify required repairs or maintenance needs.
- Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and vendors to schedule, supervise, and approve repair or maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of work orders, service reports, preventive maintenance schedules, and equipment history.
- Ensure all facilities comply with applicable hospital, safety, regulatory, and health standards.
- Respond to urgent facility issues (e.g., plumbing, HVAC, electrical) to minimize operational disruptions.
- Collaborate with hospital administration and department heads to prioritize and resolve facility-related needs.
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing renovation projects and facility upgrades.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and replacement parts needed for facility operations.
- Promote and support energy efficiency, environmental safety, and sustainability initiatives across all hospital facilities.

Required Qualifications:
- An associate degree in Facilities Management, Engineering Technology, Building Maintenance, or a related field is required or strongly preferred (depending on organizational guidelines).
- Technical/vocational certifications in a trade (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or building maintenance) are strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in facility maintenance, building operations, or a related supervisory role (5+ years preferred).
- Demonstrated experience supervising maintenance staff, contractors, or technical teams.
- Strong working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety systems, and general construction.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs, compliance standards, and facility management best practices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking work orders and maintenance records.
- Solid understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and hospital/environmental compliance requirements.
- Experience coordinating multi-phase repairs, renovations, or capital improvement projects.
- Ability to manage vendor relationships, negotiate service agreements, and evaluate contractor performance.
- Strong budgeting skills with experience monitoring maintenance expenses and proposing cost-efficient solutions.
- Proficiency in using office software (Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets) and facility-related digital tools.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on maintenance tasks when necessary.
